The study of real uses to guide your choices

Don't leave the greening of your fleet to chance.

Benefit from the analysis capabilities of the OPTIMUM platform to guide your choices. The OPTIMUM electrification study offers a rigorous analysis of uses, over a significant period of time in order to offer you a tailor-made energy transition.

Our algorithms identify the vehicles to be electrified in priority, determine the appropriate charging network and anticipate the financial impact on your TCO.

Step 1: Connecting the Vehicles

Data collection is the initial element of your energy transition.
Whether your vehicles are already equipped with telematics boxes or not, we offer you various solutions to collect the data essential to analyze the mobility of your employees.

Plug & Collect: installation by you of temporary telematic boxes during the study.

Data Collection : data retrieval via API from manufacturer telematics boxes or your current fleet management solution.

Step 2: Analysis of collected data

Daily mileage, distance and duration of each trip, duration and location of stops... This valuable and observed information on the real uses of your vehicles makes it possible to identify vehicles eligible for electrification and to define the needs for charging stations.

Step 3: Impact on fleet TCO

The OPTIMUM electrification study offers you various scenarios, from the most reasonable to the most ambitious. At each stage, the study allows you to understand and anticipate the budgetary impact of your energy transition. With the OPTIMUM electrification study, no unpleasant surprises, everything is anticipated!

Step 4: Action

The OPTIMUM electrification study provides you with a real detailed roadmap ready to use. So, for a successful energy transition, follow the guide:

- Identification of vehicles eligible for electrification
- Proposal of compatible alternative vehicles
- Number and power of charging stations required
- Recommendations for the locations of the terminals
- Financial simulations

Electrify your fleet today

More economical in use and benefiting from fiscal incentives, electric vehicles are a necessity to lower your costs, meet your obligations (LOM, ZFE...) and to preserve our environment.

Thanks to OPTIMUM, engage your fleet in the energy transition with complete peace of mind.

Frequently asked questions

Why electrify your car fleet?

THEelectrification of fleets Corporate governance has become a strategic priority, both to reduce the carbon footprint and preserve the environment but also to comply with new regulations.

Legal and fiscal obligations:

  • Mobility Orientation Law (LOM) : Fleets of more than 100 vehicles must have 20% low-emission vehicles in 2024, then 40% in 2027 and 70% in 2030. From March 2025, a fine of €2,000 per missing vehicle will be applied (then €4,000 in 2026 and €5,000 in 2027).
  • Low Emission Zones (ZFE) : Many agglomerations impose traffic restrictions on polluting vehicles.
  • Prohibition of thermal vehicles in 2035 : As of this date, no new combustion vehicles will be able to be sold in Europe.
  • Benefits in Kind (AEN) tax reform : In force since 1Er February 2025, it penalizes thermal vehicles fiscally and favors eco-scored electric vehicles.

Whether it is to comply with legislation or adopt a proactive CSR approach, the transition to electricity is inevitable.

Why conduct an electrification study with OPTIMUM?

The electrification of a fleet should not be improvised. Some vehicles and uses are, in fact, not adapted to electric power (e.g. daily trips of more than 500 km).

The OPTIMUM electrification study analyzes the travel habits of your fleet over a representative period. It thus precisely identifies which vehicles can be converted to electric without disrupting your business.

What does the OPTIMUM electrification study consist of?

OPTIMUM is a solution based on the analysis of your mobility data to help you electrify your fleet effectively. Using advanced algorithms, we identify the vehicles to be electrified as a priority, estimate the financial impact on the TCO of the fleet and recommend the necessary charging infrastructures. This study, lasting approximately 3 months, allows for an optimized energy transition and without unpleasant surprises.

How is vehicle usage data collected?

OPTIMUM uses several technologies to analyze the movements of your car fleet:

. Connection to manufacturer's embedded systems : Thanks to our agreements with the Renault Renault group and Stellantis, we directly collect data from vehicles equipped with a telematics unit at the factory.

. Connection to competing solutions : Our APIs make it possible to use data from fleet management software already in place.

. OBD boxes provided : If the vehicles do not have integrated telematics, OPTIMUM provides OBD boxes (without installation) to collect data for the duration of the study.

What data is analyzed and for what purpose?

For about 3 months, all trips are studied:

  • Daily and trip mileage
  • Duration and location of stops
  • Usual parking locations
  • etcetera

The objective is to determine the feasibility of electrification and identify the needs for charging stations (location, number, power).

What is the impact on the TCO of your fleet?

Vehicle electrification impacts the total cost of ownership (TCO) of your fleet. Thanks to the OPTIMUM study, you can anticipate the financial impact by taking into account the following parameters:

. Initial investments : Cost of buying or renting electric vehicles, costs of charging infrastructures...
. Cost optimization : Reduced taxes (TVS, AEN), savings on fuel and maintenance.
. Environmental impacts : estimation of the reduction in CO2 emissions

Thanks to a detailed analysis, OPTIMUM helps you make strategic decisions and make your energy transition profitable

What are the financial benefits of electrification?

Although buying or renting electric vehicles is more expensive, they offer significant financial benefits in the long term. Maintenance costs are reduced due to fewer moving parts, and electricity costs less than fossil fuel. In addition, various subsidies and tax exemptions exist to encourage the ecological transition of professional fleets. For example, the recent tax reform of Benefits in Kind, applicable to 1Er February 2025, thus proposes a 70% reduction on the benefits in kind of electric company vehicles, while, at the same time, it increases tax rates for internal combustion vehicles.

How do I know where to install charging stations?

OPTIMUM analyzes the uses of your fleet to determine the strategic locations of charging stations. We assess the number of terminals required, their power and their location on your sites or with employees. This analysis ensures efficient recharging and minimizes vehicle downtime.
